Killswitch Engage joined onstage by Joey Belladonna and Howard Jones in New Hampshire
Massachusetts metal band Killswitch Engage had a surprise in store for fans during their June 9 concert at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire. They were joined by two special guests: Anthrax frontman Joey Belladonna and former Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones.
Belladonna joined the band onstage for a performance of Dio's classic "Holy Diver," a song that he had also previously performed with Killswitch Engage on their joint tour in 2017. Meanwhile, Jones shared lead vocals with current frontman Jesse Leach on the song "The Signal Fire," a track that originally appeared on Killswitch Engage's 2019 album Atonement. Just last year, Jones performed onstage with the band, as he has done on occasion before. Though this two-for-one performance last night was certainly a first.
Jones took over from Leach as Killswitch Engage's lead vocalist for several albums before being dismissed from the group 11 years ago. Leach made a return to the band in 2012 after exiting due to a battle with depression in 2002.

Post CommentLol First 2 albums are about 50x better than Howard and his annoying ass over the top voice. People still like/listen to this band?
How long are they going to keep rolling out the same surprise?
Thank you to the co workers of the entire audience who switched to first shift at the oil change place so they could all go witness this historic event
Let's look at This is Hardcore Fest. Let's say 2000 weekend passes sold @ $200 a pass. That's 400K grossed & 40K of that to Joe Hardcore assuming he makes at least 10% of gross. If he put aside 8K (20%) for taxes & to pay into Social Security that's 32K net a cool 2666 a month plus change to him a union concrete pourer who must bank at least 75K a year plus benefits. What does he do really? He gets Franklin Music Hall for an entire weekend. It's all ages, no entry, my guess 11am doors over by midnight, ten minute breaks between earlier sets, 15 between later. My guess a 50% bands 40% venue 10% Joe door split. Venue makes the bar & takes no cut of merch. Year-round job my ass. Get 15 drawing bands/5 a day rest is filler. An AI bot could produce a TIH 2024 lineup from everyone he has & hasn't booked.
How many gay guys does it take to screw in a light bulb? None, they're too busy fûcking each other.
anonymous 1 day ago Alive or Just Boosted lolololol Also, how Holy Diver became a setlist staple is beyond me. shit is wack.
Howard Jones era of killswitch will never be topped
