Post CommentNo one can afford to live in Travis County anymore. Well, I can but I've got a good job. All of the "musicians" and "artists" and "creators" (think people like Mammoth Grinder) can't live in East Austin for $300 a month anymore while they work at Thundercloud. The weirdos moved away, the bands broke up, and no one who makes under $80,000 per year lives in Austin anymore.
^ and? so what? was this just an opportunity to bring up how you feel financially stable in the city you live in or is there an actual point relevant to this post about the dates that mammoth grinder are playing?
Bands like this coasted for too long and sucked way too much. Time to grow up. Besides, they missed their chance at the big time when Alex didn't want to take Hatred Surge to the next level.
^ this opinion is still irrelevant to the topic at hand
These guys are literally the musicians who got priced out of Austin.
