Pro-Rock has posted some information regarding Clutch's upcoming album, Slow Hole To China. The record is now complete as mastering an assembly were finished last week. The album will contain about 12 of the 24 songs that recorded over the last couple of years. The majority of the songs were recorded at Puncy's, but the band also did some work in New Jersey, and even recorded some live stuff at a recent show. Here's what J.P. says: "We were able to combine those multi-tracks with studio multi-tracks. I think we captured a lot of the live energy The Elephant Riders lacked. With the tricky editing it's hard to tell what's live and what's studio." A few guests are also on the record, including Dan and Joe from 60 Watt. The band plans on touring through 2001, although no plans have been confirmed. Look for Slow Hole To China in stores on March 13th, 2001.
