Counterparts were decent back in the day when they were 25-26, now they're 30-31 and they seem so forced into records just to appease older fans. I've been there since day one, and if they stuck to the perfect level of heavyness and technicality all the time (and pumping out singles like Jumping Ship) they'd be crushing active rock radio right now. I grew up in the hardcore scene, so I would know.
