Doomriders prepares new album

Doomriders, featuring Nate Newton of Converge and ex-Cave In drummer JR Conners, has been writing material for a new album as of late. According to the group, "With everyone's schedules and other bands, it's been hard to write new songs, so we finally decided that we aren't going to play shows for a while and just focus on writing new material." The band recently recorded some demos with Kurt Ballou at Godcity studios and "are very stoked on the direction the songs are going." Fans can expect a new album to surface later this year via Deathwish Inc.
