Turmoil recording new album

Turmoil has been in the studio as of late recording material for a new full-length, their first since 1999. Tracking has been taking place at Skylight Studios in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, with Vince Ratti (The Minor Times, A Life Once Lost) engineering. Drums and guitars have been completed, with bass recording taking place this weekend, and vocals slated for late-January. The effort will likely consist of roughly twelve tracks clocking in at over 40 minutes of music. The band is speaking with several producers (including Steve Evetts) about producing various portions of the record. Frontman Jon Gula told Lambgoat earlier today that the new material is "a nice progression from [the last Turmoil album] 'The Process Of.'" Fans can expect the as-yet untitled album to surface in late-spring/early-summer 2008 via Eulogy Recordings.
