Ed Gein is taking a break after a summer tour with Genghis Tron and Gaza. "That tour was amazing… Both bands rule and are really great guys. Best tour we've done in a long time" comments bassist Aaron Jenkins. Later this year Ed Gein will be working on a soon-to-be-announced split release before finishing the writing for their new album. "We'll be back to writing our next full-length [soon]. We aren't planning any tours for the time being. We need a retreat back to real life for a while so we can all keep our sanity, work on new songs. We'll be out touring again after the new full-length comes out, but we'll probably do some weekends here and there in the meantime, maybe a week long run."
