Baroness has posted the first preview track, “The Birthing”, from their first proper full-length album and Relapse Records debut, Red Album. “The Birthing” can be heard now exclusively via the band's Myspace.
Baroness recorded Red Album at the Jam Room in Columbia, SC with Phillip Cope (of Kylesa). The record was mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound and is set for a September 4th North American release date (September 10th internationally). The 12" vinyl of Red Album will see its release roughly the same time courtesy of Hyperrealist Records.
