Slayer update

The band is currently working on their new album. There hasn't been much info available on the new effort, though some possible song titles include "Kill The Messenger" and "Scarstruck". Kerry King told Metal Hammer the following - "The new album will have a lot of that Reign In Blood\South of Heaven feel in it, but like Diabolus it will also feature a few surprises". Reports indicate that for the first time in almost 15 years, Rick Rubin will not be the producer of this album. The band reportedly wanted Ross Robinson, but Ross thought the band was too heavy for him (go figure). In any case, look for a release date in early 2001.
