It Dies Today replaces singer

It Dies Today has finally announced the departure of vocalist Nick Brooks, who left the band weeks ago. Brooks has been replaced by Jason Wood. Band guitarist Mike Hatalak comments, "The band would like to send Nick our best wishes with his new project and we will always treasure the hard work and music we have created with him. Taking over will be Jason Wood who we first met while he was filling in on bass with Still Remains." Meanwhile, Brooks has issued the following statement: "The last six years have been incredible and I've seen and done more things than I ever thought were possible with this band. I also met so many amazing people along the way and I want to thank all of the fans for being so supportive, you guys made this all worthwhile. I've decided to leave the band because that is what is best for everyone at the moment. I will miss everyone, but be sure that you will be hearing from me again. I have a new band called Queen City Station and we should be recording some time this spring."
