Shadows Fall news and notes

Shadows Fall will be releasing 'Deadworld', a new, Japanese only EP on August 22 through JVC Records. The release date will coincide with the band's performance at the Beast Feast Festival in Yokohama, Japan on August 25th. That particular show also includes Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, Candiria and others. The EP itself will consist of two new studio tracks ("Deadworld" and "Stepping Outside the Circle") along with live versions of "Of One Blood", "Crushing Belial", and "The First Noble Truth". In related news, Shadows Fall is still looking for a permanent drummer, but for recording and temporary purposes they've recruited longtime friend Derek Kerswill. Kerswill will appear on the two new EP tracks and will also perform with the band in Japan and a few Northeastern U.S. shows leading up the festival.
