The First Step sign w/ Rivalry Records

The First Step have officially joined the Rivalry Records line-up. Formed in 2001, the group has previously released material with Livewire Records. Their Rivalry debut, a full-length titled "What We Know," was recorded and produced by Walter Schreifels (of Gorilla Biscuits and Quicksand fame). The twelve-song effort is tentatively scheduled to hit stores in April 2006.
