Followup Candiria news & notes

As most of you know, Candiria are currently recording their upcoming full-length and Century Media Records debut (see previous Candiria news post). We just spoke to John Lamacchia of Candiria and here's what he had to say about the new record: "So far we are very happy with the way it is coming out. We feel Candiria fans will be happy with it too. The music is evolving into new and unexplored regions. It is surely some of the wildest stuff we have ever done. At the same time it is still focused and very aggressive, it's definitely Candiria all the way." In related news, the band is also planning a tour with Madball and Shadows Fall that will kick off the last week of February and run through all of March. The tour will also be hitting the SXSW Festival in Texas near the end of March. Dates will be posted soon.
