The Amity Affliction's Ahren Stringer releases cryptic statement regarding status in band

After continued uncertainty regarding his status in the band, The Amity Affliction's Ahren Stringer has left a comment under an Instagram post with some more information.

Previously missing the band's 2024 North American tour due to ongoing issues with addiction and mental health, the bassist and clean singer claimed that he was "booted from the tour with no warning whatsoever." 

The most recent statement he gave was a bit more neutral, stating that it was a mutual decision in order to take care of his own personal health. He would be "taking some much needed annual leave from the band throughout 2025 to focus on [his] continued personal growth, considering [his] future with the band & spending more quality time with the people [he] love[s]." 

When asked about if he left the band, he said the following:

Some speculate that he is working on a new musical project with former Volumes vocalist Gus Farias, who was also kicked out of his longtime band a few years ago. The two posted a picture together:
