Nile bassist quits

Nile bassist Jon Vesano has quit the band, choosing instead to focus on his day job, which apparently doesn't coincide with Nile's touring schedule. Here's a statement from the band: "Jon has emphasized that while he realizes the incredibly bad position his sudden decision puts the band, that there is absolutely nothing personal towards the other members of Nile involved in his decision, only that it is in his long term personal interest to not give up his day job and lifestyle for the sake of the upcoming Nile tours." Consequently, the band has temporarily enlisted Steve Tucker (ex-Morbid Angel) to play bass on their upcoming European tour, while Krieshloff of Lecherous Nocturne will lend a hand on their North American tour. Nile will then look for a permanent replacement.
