Autopsy drummer/lead vocalist Chris Reifert will not be able to perform drums with the band this weekend at Decibel's Metal & Beer Fest Denver. Unfortunately, Reifert needs to repair some damage on his left shoulder and is unable to drum while he is awaiting surgery.

Necrot's Chad Gailey will handle drumming duties for the event taking place on December 6th at Summit in Denver, CO while Reifert handles his usual vocal duties.

Autopsy shared the following:

BREAKING NEWS REGARDING AUTOPSY'S PERFORMANCE THIS WEEKEND:

Hello Autopsy Freaks, Decibel Devourers and Death Metal Fiends!
Figured we'd brace you for Friday night's (Dec. 6) Autopsy set at the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest in Denver, CO. as it will have an unusual twist to it.

Chris Reifert is awaiting surgery to repair a damaged left shoulder (42 years of drumming finally took its toll) and as a result will be unable to play drums for the show.

Fear not though, Autopsy is determined to deliver the goods and not disappoint anyone attending the show and have enlisted none other than their pal Chad Gailey (you know him from Necrot and Mortuous) to smash the drum kit while Chris brings his usual screams, pukes and yells, only from the front of the stage instead of behind the drums.

The band is stoked to have Chad join them for this unique and very special occasion and can't wait to see all you maniacs losing your minds right along with them.

The show WILL go on and entrails will fly!
See you there.
