New Found Glory cancel 'It Never Snows in Florida' show due to ongoing impact of recent hurricanes
Pop punk outfit New Found Glory announced today that they have to cancel the upcoming 'It Never Snows in Florida' show which was scheduled for December 7th in Orlando, FL. The band attributes the cancellation to "uncertainty of the near future surrounding the date" after the recent hurricanes that devastated many parts of Florida.
The group offered the following about the cancellation:
Welp we have some crappy news. We love you Florida, but we feel it's best to cancel/postpone the It Never Snows In Florida show. Thank you again to the best fans in the entire world. We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2025!
Because of the major impact that the hurricanes had on our state plus the uncertainty of the near future surrounding the date of the show it just feels like the right call to make (refunds will be available at point of purchase).
We apologize to everyone that was traveling from out of state and making a vacation of it with your families. We can't wait to bring it back at the right time. We still want to use this moment to raise some more money for the hurricane relief.
We are making the charity shirt available at http://newfoundglorystuff.com and 100% of the profits go to the Florida Disaster Relief Fund. If you already ordered the t-shirt with a ticket you will be refunded for both so unfortunately you will need to purchase it again.
