Mayhem cancel upcoming 40th anniversary North American tour dates
Legendary Norwegian black metal band Meyhem have announced the scheduled performances to celebrate their 40-year career this month in North America have been cancelled as the result of a medical emergency of a band member. The unique production was set to take place in six cities starting next week, November 12th.
Below is the statement released by the band:
MAYHEM regrets to inform fans that the upcoming 40th anniversary performances in North America are cancelled due to a member of the band having a medical emergency that requires immediate surgery, which will result in a prolonged recovery period. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
Fret not, American and Canadian legion, as Mayhem will have something coming up next year that will make this up to those of you who have been disappointed by this news.

I thought this band wanted people who listened to their music to kill themselves. Honestly surprised any fans exist.
"Probably best not to come to the United States next year..." Eh, they're practically a NSBM band. They'll fit in just fine.
