Ukrainian metal drummer Mykola Sostin aka Amorth dies in battle

Ukrainian metal drummer Mykola Sostin, known on stage as Amorth, has tragically died in combat at the age of 39 while fighting for Ukraine in the ongoing conflict with Russia. The news was confirmed on November 4th by ZAVOD guitarist Oleksii Kovalev. 

Further details regarding Sostin's passing remain unconfirmed. Sostin perfomed in many bands, most notably, Soom, the Ukrainian stoner/doom/sludge metal outift.

Kovalev shared the following:
