Heavy Mountain Fest ft Thou, Pelican, and more rescheduled for January 2025 due to Hurricane Helene

Heavy Music Festival, initially set for October 25th and 26th, has been rescheduled to January 17th and 18th due to the impact of Hurricane Helene on the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. While most of the bands will still perform on the new dates, Wolves In The Throne Room, Hulder, This Will Destroy You, and Castle Rat will no longer be part of the lineup.

The event organizers will be adding additional acts to the line up soon to replace those not able to make the new date. A full list of confirmed bands are below.

The event shared the following:

First and foremost, thank you for your patience, understanding & compassion during this time for the Western NC community after Hurricane Helene. We have been working tirelessly to get Heavy Mountain sorted. Heavy Mountain will be rescheduled for Jan 17th & 18th 2025 here in Asheville, NC at The Orange Peel and Eulogy. All of the artists, agents, venues and sponsors were incredibly understanding and we are thankful for those who were able to make the move. A portion of proceeds now benefit WNC relief funds to further help our community rebuild back even stronger than before. ❤️
