The Vans Warped Tour could be making a comeback in 2025, according to reports from Rock Feed. The once-iconic festival, which helped launch careers in punk and pop-punk, is rumored to return as a series of bicoastal destination events. Live Nation is said to be overseeing the revival, with founder Kevin Lyman involved in the planning.
However, it seems unlikely that the festival will return in its original traveling format due to the high costs of touring. When the tour ended in 2018, Lyman pointed to issues like elitism among bands and fans, along with some missteps in booking, as factors in the festival's demise.
As for now it does not look like Attila frontman Fronz is involved. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
Host Brian Storm shared the following:
According to multiple sources familiar with the matter, Warped Tour will celebrate its anniversary with a series of festivals next year when Warped Tour returns in 2025. The rock festival will now be overseen by Live Nation, although Festival founder Kevin Lyman is said to be heavily involved. A request for comment from Live Nation was not returned.
