Kylesa announce first North American reunion date for 2025
Kylesa have officially announced their first North American show of 2025 as part of the 'Prepare The Ground' festival in Toronto, ON. The band, who returned from hiatus earlier this year for the 'Roadburn Festival' in the Netherlands, previously went on indefinite hiatus in 2016.
'Prepare The Ground' will take place across four venues—Trinity St. Pauls, Lee's Palace, 918 Bathurst, and The Cave—from May 30th to June 1st.
The other announced act for the festival so far is YOB performing two sets, which will also include the band playing the 2011's Atma.
Tickets and information can be found here.
The festival shared the following:
Kylesa returns for their first North American show in a decade at Prepare the Ground 2025, joining YOB's ( @quantumyob ) previously announced two performances including ATMA in full.
Savannah, Georgia's legendary experimental sludge troupe didn't just push the boundaries of their genre, they smashed through them with their crushing tones, shifting time signatures, and rhythmic sonic assaults.
Hosting what will be one of a select few North American shows in 2025 is our honour and privilege, and we couldn't think of a band better suited to push PtG to new heights.
