Reading, Pennsylvania-based progressive death metal band Rivers of Nihil has released the instrumental edition of their acclaimed full-length album The Work today via Metal Blade Records. The band celebrates sharing a visualizer for "Terrestria IV: Work".

Rivers of Nihil has always defied categorization, and with 2018's Where Owls Know My Name, they transcended all labels. In 2021, they pushed further into new territory with The Work, an album both cerebral and visceral that spans a staggering sonic range, firmly placing them in a category of their own.

This band struck gold on WOKMN and then turned it into shit on their next album. Biggest decline in quality I've ever heard
