Crucialfest shares night 2 lineup featuring Black Tusk, Frail Body, Somnuri, and more

Crucialfest is a boutique Salt Lake City music festival and celebration of the fringe styles of underground and extreme independent music and art. Originally launched in 2011 and craftily curated in and concept and content, Crucialfest spotlights global, national, and regional acts with a broad sonic palate.

Crucialfest 13, which will take place September 13-15 at SLC's Metro Music Hall, has already announced its opening night lineup -- including Mars Red Sky, Midwife, Howling Giant, Gost, and more and today announces its second night lineup for the three-day event.

Night two of Crucialfest 13 will take place on September 14th and feature Savannah, Georgia punk-sludge pack, Black Tusk, Illinois scream team, Frail Body, West Virginia stoner-prog unit, Horseburner, Utah hardcore herd, Triphammer, Brooklyn riff-rockers, Somnuri, Sacramento, sad-doom sect, Chrome Ghost, Utah USMB set, Moray, SLC post-metal posse, Blackshape, and Honor Hour.

The just-announced groups join a stellar night one lineup including Bordeaux, France cosmic psych trio, Mars Red Sky, Denver slowcore multi-instrumentalist, Midwife, Nashville stone-psych unit, Howling Giant, Bay Area post-hardcore quartet, Ex Everything, Boise doom-sludge sect, Onsetter, SLC trance-psych trio, Iota, shoegaze-doom assembly, Violet Temper, and the industrial-instrumental act, Dehorn. Additionally, the September 13th Crucialfest kick off will feature a special "Friday the 13th Night of Evil" set by slasherwave darksynth producer GOST.
