Hunt The Dinosaur posts then deletes photo with Kyle Rittenhouse

Hunt The Dinosaur Kyle Rittenhouse

In early May, Hunter Madison, the vocalist of the Texan deathcore band Hunt The Dinosaur, was at a gun show in Mesquite, Texas, and while there, snapped a photo alongside controversial figure Kyle Rittenhouse.

Rittenhouse gained notoriety for shooting three men, two of whom died, during the civil unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, related to the George Floyd protests in 2020. Following a trial in November 2021, Rittenhouse was acquitted after claiming self-defense during his testimony.

Today, June 10th, he posted the photo with a caption that read:

Ran into this guy the other day. Random as hell.

Despite mixed reactions from his fans, Madison clarified in a comment:

I literally have no opinion on it. I didn't say I agreed or disagreed with the matter. All good though. You can think whatever you want. Opinions are likel buttholes. Everyone has one and they usually stink.

A few hours after going live, the photo was eventually removed.

It seems the band is no stranger to guns though, as the band's latest video for the track "TANK" prominently features Hunter in an American flag windbreaker, and the band is seen performing in front of a tank.

The band also shared photos and behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot where they can be seen handling firearms.
