We can all finally rest now that Slipknot has officially announced Eloy Casagrande, formerly of Sepultura, as the band's new drummer. Following the departure of former drummer Jay Weinberg, Casagrande shortly announced his departure from Sepultura leaving many to wonder for months if he would eventually end up behind the kit for the Iowa metal outfit.
Casagrande made his debut with Slipknot over the weekend, when the band performed at an intimate venue and on headlined Sick New World.

Additionally, earlier in the day Slipknot also revealed plans for a North American tour with support from Knocked Loose. Orbit Culture and Vended will open on select dates. The tour will end with Knotfest Iowa on September 21st.
