Evergreen Terrace begin recording their next album

Evergreen Terrace

Florida hardcore outfit Evergreen Terrace had been teasing new music for a while, with new drummer Longineu "LP" Parsons (ex-Yellowcard) confirming work on writing fresh material last year.

On Sunday, April 14th, the band finally announced the commencement of recording for their next record with a simple social media update stating:

"It has begun…Drums day 1."

This upcoming record will be the first with LP as their new drummer. The band solidified Parsons as their permanent drummer at the start of 2023.

Guitarist Alex Varian managed to record a short video from the session:

In a social media post, LP shared more photos from the studio:

As for any uncertainty surrounding the "LP3" graphic seen in the original photo, it is, in fact, Longineu "LP" Parsons III's logo, which appears on each of his symbols.

Additionally, guitarist Craig Chaney has confirmed that the band was able to complete drum tracking on one track so far during the session and has begun tracking on the second.
