Metal Blade Records signs The Red Death

Upstate New York metal band The Red Death have officially signed a worldwide deal with Metal Blade Records. The group has previously released a six-song EP with Crooked Halo Records. The group will be at Indie Audio in Syracuse this month to record their Metal Blade debut with producer Jason "Jocko" Randall (Ed Gein). Here's a statement from the band: "We at The Red Death camp are proud to announce our signing with the almighty Metal Blade Records. This is exactly the label we wanted to work with, and it's an honor to be given this opportunity. It's still unreal that a band from Western New York has been given the chance to work with a label that bands such as The Red Chord, Amon Amarth, Unearth, As I Lay Dying, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cattle Decapitation, The Crown, Vehemence, and many others call home. Look for us on the road starting in Feb." Check out some of The Red Death's older material here.

What are you talking about? I saw them like a murder of crows throwdown and bleeding through. If they're getting on those kind of shows they're getting big.
