Misery Signals deliver UK / European farewell tour dates featuring both vocalists
Earlier this week Misery Signals announced the final tour they will take as a band. The farewell tour will also feature both vocalists Jesse Zaraska & Karl Schubach.
Zaraska departed the band in early 2006 after the release of their debut album Of Malice and the Magnum Heart in 2004. Following Zaraska's departure, Misery Signals turned to MySpace for online auditions and quickly found Karl Schubach as their new vocalist, performing their first show together that March.
Schubach spent nearly a decade with Misery Signals, contributing to three full-length albums: "Mirrors" (2006), "Controller" (2008), and "Absent Light" (2013), before "parting ways" with the band. Interestingly, this departure coincided with the reunion of the original lineup, including founding vocalist Jesse Zaraska, for a ten-year anniversary tour of their debut record.
Schubach remained relatively silent on the matter until releasing a statement regarding the split several years later. The relationship between the two groups has seen its ups and downs, but Schubach's inclusion in Misery Signals' future plans suggests a potential reconciliation and a positive step forward.
Fans in the UK and Europe will be happy to learn they too will be able to catch one of the abnd's final shows without having to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Support for the run will be handled by Renounced. List of dates are below.
