Pelican release first new material since 2019

Chicago, IL-based post-metal/rock instrumental four-piece, Pelican, have released the first new material from the band since 2019's Nighttime Stories. Today the group shared the release of the two track Adrift/Tending the Embers EP. The EP also features founding guitarist Laurent Schroeder-Lebec, who rejoined Pelican in 2022.

Last year the band released a pair of covers, Unwound's "For Your Entertainment" and Karate's "Gasoline", which was recorded for Numero Group's 25th anniversary.
