No Cure suffer van trouble on tour, release new merch drop to help cover costs
No Cure, the straight-edge hardcore crew from Alabama, is currently providing support for Gideon's "More Power. More Pain." tour. However, their journey hit a roadblock after their show in Dallas, TX, when their tour vehicle experienced a blown transmission on The Margaret McDermott Bridge.
Facing an unexpected expense, the band had to dip into their own pockets to replace/repair the malfunctioning transmission. To help offset these costs, No Cure has launched a merch drop, which is now available for purchase.
The band shared the following:
Hey guys, bad news. Last night after our Dallas show our transmission blew up big time stranding us on McDermott bridge. Thanks to @gideonal and @unitytx we were able to get off the bridge and to a safe location. However, this puts us in a really bad position. We are gonna incur some brutal expenses between van rental, transmission repair (if it's fixable), and then going back to Dallas to get our van after tour. We put together a drop to help with all of this. The hoodie is champion, the short sleeves are comfort colors. These will ship pretty fast. Please help spread the word and grab something if you can. We are doing everything we can to not miss a single show of this tour. The stainless steel will prevail.
