The Ghost Inside debut new single and announce next album

California melodic hardcore outfit The Ghost Inside have released their new single and music video, "Wash It Away", from their upcoming full length, Searching for Solace, out April 19th via Epitaph Records.

Vocalist Jonathan Vigil shared the following:

It's really hard to break everything down, start over and rebuild," they explain.  "Whether that is a relationship, schooling, a career or a business venture. After dedicating so much time to something, it can be scary to lose it and start over.

After four years since their self-titled album, The Ghost Inside returns at a pivotal point in their lives. Nine years post the tragic bus crash that profoundly altered their course, the band has grasped an esoteric truth about tranquility. Embracing the axiom "it's the journey, not the destination," the theme resonates throughout the band's dynamic sixth album, Searching for Solace.

Nothing like some terrible clean singing/whisper yells to ruin my February.

Let me guess. Gonna talk more about that bus crash?

lmao what the f*ck is this? Should have stopped after the show at the Shrine.

I remember when the dude that got called out for the N word was in a band called Sluts and he said the N word.

anonymous 104 days ago

.... so they fully abandoned the sound that got fans into the band in the first place. Got it.

Imagine Dragons for the 40 year old at the hardcore show in camo cargo shorts.

Realistically, how often does this work? It worked for Bring Me the Horizon, sure, but Architects tried and supplanted their old audience with exactly the same amount of new audience. Selling out just to stand in place. It doesn't help that this buttock sound hasn't evolved for over twenty years, so who keeps telling these bands they could potentially cash-in on it?

disrespect your surroundings!

- Writing sessions with different producers (translation: hired songwriters) - "Some of our most melodic, yet heaviest stuff" - "We know who we are" The three marks of a sellout band, folks! Tune in on Sirius FM Octane this Spring.

Feel good story comeback from bus crashing best buisness choice for racist fat band with no talent

anonymous 104 days ago

The only thing more vanilla than this song is the members of the band.

I've said this before and I'll say it again on here…when a band starts wearing leather / pleather jackets…it's over folks. Vigil can't sing live so this should be interesting.

I've supported this band since 2008. With this trash they've put out recently I'll no longer be going to see them live.

Are the rumors true about the bassist?

anonymous 104 days ago

It's awful.

Architects also wrote a song about their old fans calling them out. A day to remember went this route and no one's heard from them since. If you're going to abandon your sound, change the band name

I came here to listen to The Ghost inside and instead just listening to A day to remember b side.

Pretty standard for a legit heavyish band to do a vanflip and get all limp wristed for some radio friendly bullshit. No care.

anonymous 102 days ago

Band has been dog shit since the beginning of time. There drummer was better off playing in For The Fallen Dreams back when that band didn't suck shit. But if you do see TGI on tour: " A NICE SLICE WITH TGI VIP UPGRADE PRE-SHOW Q&A / PIZZA PARTY WITH TGI • PHOTO WITH TGI AUTOGRAPHED COLLECTIBLE POSTCARD • TGI TOTE BAG COMMEMORATIVE VIP PASS • EARLY ENTRY • EARLY MERCH ACCESS" 😂😂😂

anonymous 100 days ago

The people who listen to butt rock haven't changed either and won't buy it if it isn't butt rock (or rap or country) so producers will keep telling bands to do this.
