Poison The Well add second 'You Come Before You' Chicago date plus additional shows

Poison The Well

Florida metalcore vets Poison The Well announced back in September plans to perform You Come Before You anniversary shows in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Chicago and Brooklyn to kick off 2024.

Of course you can imagine tickets went quickly when initially made available, so it's no surprise that today, it was announced a second Chicago date will take place on Jan 12 at the Cobra Lounge with support coming from SeeYouSpaceCowboy along with two additional CA and NY dates.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am CST.

The album was called You COME Before You. I wouldn't expect the people running this site to remember that tho, considering all they do is pretend they were around for shit when it first happened.

who TF doesn't know right off the bat the album was called YOU COME BEFORE YOU. I always remembered because of what a dumb name it was.

anonymous 59 seconds ago Was around the first time around and remember no one caring and the bands draw disappearing along with tour mates Thursday ^PTW signed to a major label (mistake #1) then proceeded to purposely write unmarketable trash just to mess with the suits at the label (mistake #2)

another noticeably not filled to capacity show at the metro based on inflated ticket sales from guest list and mgmt buying tix and not being able to move after… exhibit A turnstile. Exhibit B harms way.

A "FLORIDA" band that literally NEVER plays in Florida, ever.

^the loser who whines about any mildly successful hardcore or hardcore adjacent band is back. What a failure at life you are.

anonymous 202 days ago

aren't they about to play some boat in florida

Exhibit B harms way. --- Tunstile played the Aragon Ballroom which is like 5 times the size though. Why would they add another night though if it's not sold out? Wouldn't they just say hey we have a few hundred tickets still left up for grabs instead?

Brooklyn show on 1/19 at the Warsaw as well

anonymous 202 days ago

triggered pussy. your taste in music is trash ^not into either band. but your nonsense crybaby takes are even more tiresome. you said harms way wouldn't sell out. and they did. then you claimed it was all guestlist. turnstile sells out 3k-5k venues. again, you say it's management buying tix. you're just a dumb, sore loser, loser.

PTW disguising their fundraiser for another roadside weed shop as a "tour". Is the drummer still playing with his back to the audience because he can't function without being high?

^^ arguing with yourself again, Stan.

The latest live video I could find of them was from furnace fest last year and he is facing the crowd in that at least. I will eagerly be awaiting video of these upcoming shows to see now though.

The high school that Vogel janitors at in LA wouldn't give him that Friday off so he could play the local show and had to resort to Anaheim only on Saturday

If we're talking about what came before poison the well, the band's name was once Doubting Thomas. In every corner and space I search for you,I've only found your vocal cords. ...Your vocal cord is about the size of a hair follicle. S

In 20+ years of touring, unless you are playing an arena, a 100 person guest list is a fantasy and even that's a stretch. Never heard of management purchasing tickets unless it's the first couple rows for friends and family. Brady, seek hep.

anonymous 201 days ago

then you must not of been in a real signed band (exposed). management fronted and bought a significant amount of tix and couldn't offload on third party sites / aftermarket. this is why all those shows in europe were canceled and the direct support slots on butt rock festivals rescinded. there is no new album turned in and the list of scab members grows to consolidate funding.

^ lol at pretending you are a person of importance in the music business when you have never even played an open mic night

anonymous 201 days ago

Harms Way didn't sell out the Metro.

anonymous 201 days ago

Harms Way didn't sell out the Metro. ^ correct, I was there and we were all on guest list. Also, junkie Brady gave everyone handjobs for dope money.

Indecision yet again gimme a f*ckin break. NYC Councilman Justin Brannan still thinks he's a 1998 broke nobody. Dude plays shows in NYC more than he holds town halls. Grow up man.

Don't get me wrong, I have tickets to see them during this touring cycle with Hopesfall and WIll Haven. But at the same time, I wonder how many people really want to see a band that hasn't been relevant for 20+ years playing not their best or even second best album (first two were way better than YCBY). Only time will tell I guess.

anonymous 201 days ago

One of the most overrated bands to ever exist #vanflip

anonymous 197 days ago

I wonder how much money they still owe whatever major label signed them. Odd you'd celebrate an album that bombed on a major label but whatever, imagine a world where this band broke up after their first album. I hope nobody goes to these shows just like how nobody bought that album when it came out.
