Dave Grohl killed his best friend. Taylor wanted to get out, the grueling touring schedule while playing 3+ hours every night was too much. He turned to drugs to cope, didn't want to "disappoint anybody". That's why Dave put those huge tribute shows. Pure guilty.

Poo Fighter - I got my dick all covered in shit

anonymous 154 days ago

Not metal or hardcore..

anonymous 154 days ago

What corporation is Grohl working for? Any brand....I mean band who plays stadiums are not to be trusted.

anonymous 154 days ago

Foo Fighters is owned by Vanguard and BlackRock.

Band f*cking sucks

anonymous 33 minutes ago Not metal or hardcore.. Was going to post this exact thing

Taylor had been doing drugs (mainly cocaine) for 30 something years. The dude was worth 10's of millions of dollars, he wasn't forced to tour. If he needed a break the band would have accommodated that or they simply could have had someone like Josh freese split up drumming duties and fans would have understood and embraced it.

anonymous 154 days ago

^ True but you know Dave milks every last f*cking drop from everything, so you know he runs his bandmates like slaves.

anonymous 154 days ago

A list of all the venues Turnstile will never headline. LOL @ L7 as support.

anonymous 154 days ago

Matt Cameron from Pearl Jam, a close friend of Taylor, told that he said "I can't f*cking do it anymore". Also: "The fact that he finally spoke to Dave and really told him that he couldn't do this and that he wouldn't do it anymore, that was freeing for him," a colleague and friend of Hawkins', who asked to remain anonymous, says. "That took f*cking balls. That did take a year of working up the guts to do." While Hawkins' friends are adamant that he wanted a change, exactly how big a shift Hawkins asked for is a matter of some dispute. A rep for Foo Fighters says, "He never 'informed Dave and [management]' of anything at all like that." Now, if Dave is a such a nice guy, the "nicest guy in rock and roll" according to everybody, why did a friend needed 1 f*cking year to build up the courage to tell him he was done? Dave Grohl is fake as shit.

anonymous 58 minutes ago Not metal or hardcore.. Dave Grohl has forgotten more about metal and hardcore than you will ever learn

anonymous 154 days ago

^OR Dave had actually no idea and it took Taylor that long to say something because of his pride. If he was hurting that bad his friends/employees/managers etc could have mediated that conversation. FF weren't touring months a time either, just a string of shows now and then.

anonymous 154 days ago

He's an obnoxious jackass and that learn to fly song makes me irrationally angry, but he gets a pass

anonymous 154 days ago

^^^Hence Harm's Way sellout is fake.I mean how strange is it that Harm's Way a 17 year old band is only now selling out Metro yet a much younger Drain sold out Metro first & being around a lot less time. It's almost as if Hardlore & the money behind it thought hey let's book a Harm's Way tour & buy out x amount of tickets at their hometown show to make it look like a sellout...oh wait...Do the math. 1100 capacity so 1000 sell to after staff, band members & crews & guestlist. The undercard alone draws 400 paid, Harm's Way figure 150 to be fair for 550 total. Hardlore sponsors buy the other 450 tickets @ 40 a pop = 18K & give 'em away. 18K is chickenfeed cuz they make back x of that on merch cuts from all the bands at the show & whatever HW makes (HW makes X minus money owed after merch cuts )Also sold out doesn't mean the place sold 1000 tickets to 1000 people & all 1000 people will show up. If an attenedee buys an average of 2.5 tickets that's only 450 buyers (1000 by 2.5.)

anonymous 154 days ago

more proof turnstile is fully on the downswing. passed up as support on this. UK shows canceled from lack of ticket sales. many years since last release and no new album in the works. rotating scab members to save coin. passed up t bell new feed the beat campaign.

anonymous 154 days ago

nailed it ^

anonymous 154 days ago

Turnstile has plateaued. TurNSYNC

anonymous 154 days ago

Turnstile is playing bigger stadiums

anonymous 154 days ago

"Cope harder, fanboy" Trying to blame dave for a DRUG ADDICTS death. Looks like Foo fighters are still selling out all over the world without him. Reminds me of TURNSTILE still getting bigger without a liability (Brady) would have also died on tour like Taylor and now can do that on his own in his parents basement.

"Dave Grohl has forgotten more about metal and hardcore than you will ever learn" Cool, bro. Maybe when Lambgoat launches a Jeopardy-styled podcast they will be able to get him on as a guest. But this isn't a metal/hardcore trivia site, it's supposed to be a metal and hardcore news site.

anonymous 154 days ago

Dave also killed Kurt Cobain as well. Heard it here first.

anonymous 153 days ago

anonymous 13 hours ago Dave also killed Kurt Cobain as well. Heard it here first. FALSE Kurt's sobering moment was when he looked at Francis and said to himself "I knocked up the will-der-beast of a mother & was given a daughter... it should've been a son."
