After releasing their final album in 2016, hardcore band Weekend Nachos are returning for a few select shows. The band says that they're "still basically broken up but felt like playing some shows in 2024" though it seems like we'll see them slightly sooner than that.
Yesterday, the band's name was announced as part of the Harm's Way album release show on November 18, 2023 in Chicago, IL. Weekend Nachos has confirmed via social media that you were in fact reading that right.
In a post on social media, the band shared two show posters, along with a note on their comeback, including the aforementioned Harm's Way show, as well as Maryland Death Fest, lined up for May of 2024 in Baltimore, MD.
It's safe to say the decision to return was not directly driven by a Golden Retreiver appearing at a Motionless In White/Parkway Drive/Knocked Loose show last weekend, though their song "Dog Torture" makes it pretty clear how they'd feel about it.
