Ozzfest '99 long-lost documentary 'We Sold Our Souls For Rock N' Roll' premiering in Los Angeles

We Sold Our Souls

Director Penelope Spheeris (Wayne's World, The Decline Of Western Civilization) is set to unveil her long-awaited Ozzfest '99 documentary We Sold Our Souls For Rock 'N' Roll in Los Angeles next week. The 1999 Ozzfest boasted a legendary lineup featuring Black Sabbath, Slayer, Deftones, System Of A Down, and Slipknot (full lineup below). The documentary, produced under the watchful eye of Sharon Osbourne, wife, and manager of Ozzy Osbourne, offers an unfiltered portrayal of a pivotal time in heavy metal music history.

Scheduled to be screened at the David Geffen Theater in Los Angeles, CA on August 18, tickets for this exclusive screening can be obtained through the official website of the Academy Museum.
