Initially, the documentary encountered several setbacks, with legal issues complicating its release, despite a series of successful screenings at film festivals.
The 1999 Ozzfest boasted a legendary lineup featuring Black Sabbath, Slayer, Deftones, System Of A Down, and Slipknot (full lineup below). The documentary, produced under the watchful eye of Sharon Osbourne, wife, and manager of Ozzy Osbourne, offers an unfiltered portrayal of a pivotal time in heavy metal music history.
