Post-metal mainstays Pelican have unfortunately had to postpone several of their upcoming Midwest shows. This decision follows the confirmation of a band member testing positive for COVID-19. The affected shows will be rescheduled ASAP, with the Chicago date now set for October 24.

Despite the postponement, ticket holders are reassured that their original tickets will still be honored for the rescheduled dates. Alternatively, refunds can also be obtained from the point of purchase.

The band shared:

"Hey everyone. It is with heavy hearts that we announce our run of Midwest shows this coming week has been postponed in the wake of a band member testing positive for COVID. The Chicago date has shifted to October 24th (with Uniform and Upper Wilds still in tow) and working to reschedule the others as quickly as possible. Tickets for the original dates will still be honored, but refunds are also available from point of purchase. Our sincerest apologies to those who were planning to attend, particularly those of you who were traveling great distances to see the shows. Hope to come back to you with more positive updates soon."
