No Cure sponsored straight edge boxer Fred Weaver wins fight by KO in just 70 seconds
Friday we mentioned Alabama Straight Edge band No Cure had sponsored Birmingham Straight Edge fighter Fred Weaver for The Night of the Assassin, which took place Saturday at the Bartow Arena, in Birmingham, AL.
It only would seem fair to let you all know how that fight turned out for Weaver. Weaver who had a professional fighting career of 2-3-0 was set to face Anthony Stewart, whose record was 6-4-2.
Unfortunately for Stewart, his record quickly changed to 6-5-2 with a loss to Weaver by KO (Knockout). The starting bell rang and 70 seconds later Weaver connects with a right to Stewart's chin and "Down goes Fraiser!" as they say.
