Lambgoat Records returns with Paria 'Venerate' EP and Eighteen Visions 'Purgatorio' physical release

Lambgoat Records

Official press release:

After lying dormant for nearly 15 years, Lambgoat Records is proud to announce: "We're baaaack!"

Today marks the next step in the growth of Lambgoat as an overall brand and company. Lambgoat has spent the last quarter of a century informing fans of news, releases, and drama from within the metal and hardcore community. The revitalization of Lambgoat Records is the next step in what Lambgoat intends to offer the fanbases of the genres we all hold dear.

Today, Lambgoat Records proudly announces two releases from two powerhouse bands: Omaha, NE heavy hitters Paria and Orange County, CA metalcore legends Eighteen Visions.

Listen to Eighteen Visions' new single "Fix Me" here.

After a 14-year hiatus, Paria smashed back on the scene in early 2023 with the release of a new song "Venerate." Following that, the band has diligently dedicated its efforts to refining and perfecting an upcoming release. The EP, also titled Venerate, has undergone meticulous mixing by Jim Homan and mastering by Will Putney, and is set to be released through Lambgoat Records, with full details coming soon.

The album's second single "Roadblock" (mastered by Will Putney) will follow shortly paired with a music video.

Paria guitarist John Claus shared the following:

"As a band, this body of work is the best representation of us and our 22-year, music-making journey. We aren't the same band, yet our four 'core' members are intact and so is our approach. We only make music that WE want to hear. Lambgoat shares our ideal and has been an amazing advocate since the beginning. We are thrilled to begin this next chapter as a team!"

Orange County legends Eighteen Visions are now releasing their third single, "Fix Me," off their upcoming release, Purgatorio, which will see a physical edition through Lambgoat Records, including limited vinyl variants available only through Lambgoat and No Echo.

"Fix Me" is the third single from Purgatorio, the next release in a 3-part installment series from the band.

Eighteen Visions vocalist James Hart shared the following:

"Lambgoat has always been a great resource for hardcore and metal. Always supporting 18V. We'd been having internal discussions on how to best maximize our upcoming Purgatorio release and the prospect of Lambgoat and their new label came up. Their legacy along with where we are as a band felt like it would be a nice fit. We look forward to working with them as they begin their next chapter in the world of hardcore and metal."

More info on both releases in the weeks to come.

anonymous 254 days ago

Didn't LambGOOT f*ck within the ruins with their so called label? This is essentially a metal parody site, the original hard times, but with the best goddamn comment section.

anonymous 254 days ago

I always knew James Hart was a SAGE, this just seals it

anonymous 254 days ago

Been waiting on this Paria release forever! Still bummed its just an EP, but hopefully the "meticulous" mix is better than the version on the single.

anonymous 254 days ago

Jesus Christ. I would quit playing music before signing to "Lambgoat Records". This site is a f*cking embarrassing joke in the best of times - what are they going to do for any band? Can't wait to see the limited vinyl pressings with spelling mistakes on the cover.

anonymous 254 days ago

18 V: from Epic Records to Lambgoat Records.

anonymous 254 days ago

Why the f*ck does the goat have deer/elk antlers?

anonymous 254 days ago

Each antler represents a gender. Just need to add like 50 more antlers and it'll be good to go. 👌

easyhateoven 254 days ago

lol ^^^

anonymous 254 days ago

I don't think lambgoat has anything to do with the production/marketing/distribution of any of these releases, besides not making the bands pay $50 for a post. They/them just kicked some money towards getting a logo on it

anonymous 254 days ago

Ohhh boy! Another Will put it in me graced release. I can hardly wait for the Finns new YouTube video on this

anonymous 254 days ago

Why does the deer have a goat face?

anonymous 254 days ago

Why does the lamb have a deer-faced goat ass?

anonymous 254 days ago

Goat-faced deer ass* It is too shitty of a concept to grasp. Maybe it really is a representation of genders.

anonymous 254 days ago

This is all just a marketing scheme to get The Callous Doughboys signed and touring. Lurk will then be able to jerk off to his favorite they/thems in person!

anonymous 254 days ago

The Callous Doughboys/satanic tea 7" would sell out in minutes

anonymous 254 days ago

Lurkcity killed d0thack/toxicnacho

anonymous 253 days ago

Goo Visions

Bortslob 253 days ago

At least we all know what records we won't be buying with 60 bucks

anonymous 253 days ago

Why is everyone so mean? What terrible, unhappy people you all are. Long live Lambgoat records!
