Lickgoldensky calls it quits

After roughly six years as a band, Lickgoldensky has officially broken up. During that time, the band has released material with Hawthorne Street Records, Escape Artist Records, and Level Plane Records. Here's what guitarist Jamie Getz says about the breakup: "You want to know what happened? It all depends on who you talk to. Band's over. All I know is that we weren't happy at this period of being in a band, and we discussed breaking up, starting over, etc, a number of times. For it to happen how it did is selfish and lame. I guess there always has to be some sort of drama in this band." As such, all scheduled dates have been cancelled. The Breather Resist and Coliseum tour will still be happening though, with Gods And Queens instead of Lickgoldensky.
