Drag Pattern (Yashira, Gouge Away, PeZ) to release physical copies of demo released last year
Official press release:
Born out of a decade of friendships in Florida's hardcore scene, the members of Drag Pattern came together last year to create something new. Drawing on the work of their current and previous bands (Colonial Wound, PeZ, Gouge Away, Axis, Yashira, Frameworks, etc.) while filtering it through a host of influences such as Unsane, Knut, and Swarm of the Lotus, the result is a demo that is urgent, distinct, and altogether crushing. After seeing a cassette release through local Jacksonville brick-and-mortar shop Tiger Records, these songs will now see a vinyl release via Michigan-based label Dropping Bombs.
Check out the tracks below, pre-orders are live here.
The band shared the following:
"We are very excited to see our debut release take a physical form. Honored to be working with our buddy Eric Scobie to get this 7" out. He's put out countless great records, and we're beyond grateful he's pushing us forward. Also thankful for the group involved with these 3 songs. There is a plethora of shit to talk about Florida - a lot of it is valid - but we got really lucky to end up with the team that we have."
Drag Pattern is:
Luke Pate (PeZ, Frameworks)
Dylan Downey (Gouge Away, Axis)
Luke Barber (Yashira, Colonial Wound)
Connor Anderson (Yashira)
Dylan Mikos (Yashira, Colonial Wound, Suntouch House)
