Band consistently sells out every single tour date as a headliner for well over a decade. Viral on tik-tok, instagram, twitter and all forms of social media without festival or tv show buy-ons like CO and Turnstile. Generation-spanning fanbase, this will be a good look for them.

Dickriding a cover band is crazy ^

Turnstile is easily the biggest band in hardcore right now. Nothing I've ever heard compares to this latest album. They're on a whole new wave. You can sing along, you can dance, you can groove. It's a big moment for hardcore. They also found fans in people who generally listen to other genres of music besides hardcore. People who talk about them have been generally enthusiastic to share their music and are excited to have found them and this gives the fan underground credibility and the band a crossover mainstream fanbase that the label and management are betting millions of buy on spots for.

WHO?!

Ran into these dudes on tour like 10 years ago. I'd remembered them from being on Epitaph and didn't know they'd become a "viral sensation" cover band or whatever the f*ck was going on. These dudes were soft as goose shit. Biggest f*cking babies I've ever run into.

Who cares? No one. A statement like that has no credibility coming from someone who got into hardcore 2 years ago. You've never even been to a real hardcore show. Turnstile is excruciatingly boring and the vocalist is beyond annoying

Turnstile's rise has been one of the greatest success stories from hardcore to mainstream, or underground music in general. Glow on is the rocket going off and the next record is going to put them on a whole new level. Who cares if the average fan "Got into hardcore 2 years ago" The fan buying tickets to see them in an amphitheater or hear them on the radio don't care you saw them at a vfw 10 years ago...the same way My chemical romance fans didn't care they toured with give up the ghost or reggie and the full effect before they started moving up to theaters to arenas. Your label/management conspirecy is just that, a conspiracy.
