Dream Theater Finland show cancelled due to safety concerns

Dream Theater's show in Finland on February 3, 2023 was cancelled due to safety concerns, according to a report from Loudersound.com.
The band released a statement on their website, saying: "We regret to inform our fans that due to safety concerns related to the stage, our show in Finland has been cancelled."

Toni Peiju, CEO of All Things Live Finland told Ilta-Sanomat:
"The subcontractor company had made a stage that was not safe to perform on. The lighting and sound equipment are heavy, and the stage structures would not have been sufficient to support their weight. The lights would not have been allowed to hang. It was purely a security matter.
There was no other option but to pull the plug on the show. I wouldn't have had time to do anything with the stage. The band is moving on, so organising a replacement gig is almost impossible."
It was second show on this run to be cancelled. Dream Theater announced earlier this week that the February 9 show at Horsens in Denmark was cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances," giving no further explanation.
