Getty ImagesAs we've previously reported Pantera is hitting the road again, and the rumors are true.
Billboard is now reporting that drummer Charlie Benante (Anthrax) along with guitarist and "Dimebag" shoo-in Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne) will join Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown to complete the lineup for Pantera's 2023 tour.
Last year, Rex Brown stated that Zakk Wylde wouldn't tour with Pantera if there were a reunion, in fact, he guaranteed it. Billboard's article was unable to confirm what changed his mind.
In a piece of reassuring news, however, the estates of Vincent "Vinnie Paul" Abbott and "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott have green-lit the reunion.
The band is set to headline several major festivals across North America and Europe as well as headline a few shows of their own.
