Dr. Acula sign with Silent Pendulum Records for release of new album
As you may recall, reanimated Long Island band Dr. Acula completed work on a new album some months ago and had been shopping the effort to record labels.
Now comes word that the group have officially joined the roster of New York-based label, Silent Pendulum Records (Black Sheep Wall, The Number 12 Looks Like You).
"We're incredibly stoked to finally announce that the one and only Dr. Acula is now part of the SPR family!" revealed Silent Pendulum. "More news coming your way soon… so stay tuned!"

What's the benefit of a traditional record label in this day and age? Strategically release new "singles" Put your shit on Spotify Upload songs to your YouTube channel individually Make "behind the scenes" videos and plug any bullshit advertiser that reaches out to you Keep active on instagram When the album "drops" make sure its on Spotify and YouTube as well Make sure ALL social media makes it easy to find your web store for shirts and shit Collect money. It takes work but at least you get to reap all the reward instead of giving up most of it to a label just cuz "Well dude we got your CD and a shirt sold at Hot Topic" wtf.
