Weedeater have scrapped the last portion of their current, headlining U.S. tour due to multiple Covid cases in their touring party. The band has issued the following statement:
"Sorry to say that there have been at least two confirmed cases of Covid in the Weedeater touring party, and because of the quarantine periods and the near certainty that more people in the group either are infected or will get infected in the meantime, and the associated quarantine times for all, we simply have no choice but to postpone the remaining shows on this tour. This is a massive disappointment as this tour was really incredible and all the bands were on point. Thanks to all of you who came out to the shows that we were able to play. For the rest of you, we will get this back on track asap and see you soon. All shows will remain on sale and we will reschedule the dates this year. We are aiming to keep the same bands on the bill (aside from the festival dates) and let this play out as it was intended. We will have the rescheduled dates ready to announce soon along with some other tour dates this summer so stay tuned and thanks as always for your support."
