Reactivated Long Island, New York deathcore/metalcore outfit Dr. Acula have apparently completed work on their first new album in ten years and are currently shopping the material to record labels for a release later this year (see the tweet below).
The material was seemingly tracked in 2021 and has been finalized in the interim. Stay tuned.

Met these guys in 2009 at Hot Topic. I was a key holder there and they came in around mid day. Super dead mall. They were probably disappointed no one was in the store. I didn't know them but figured this group of dudes and their your lanyards hanging from their keychains must be a band. I asked and they confirmed. I took a pic with them since it was cool to show the company that you met a band and that your store had a visit from A BAND. They bought a handful of their cds which had just come out I believe to sell at their show. I gave them my employee discount of 20% off electronics. I then took a lunch break and ate chic fil a at the food court, since you asked, of course.
My buddy used to run a promotion company and set up a show in Albany NY for them to come play. They were meant to headline while local bands opened up for them. They never showed up
