Overkill guitarist Dave Linsk to miss tour, Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head) to step in

Overkill guitarist Dave Linsk will apparently sit out the group's imminent U.S. tour with Prong as the result of "personal reasons." Guitar player Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) will serve as his temporary replacement.

The news comes via Overkill vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth and the Chicago Tribune, to whom the latter Ellsworth said, "We've used Phil in the past when we've had issues. We're prepared. We're ready. It's not about the strength of the individual but about the strength of the unit. We found that out with Phil when he stepped in."
