Mortuous, ex-Exhumed guitarist Mike Beams set to undergo heart surgery

Guitarist Mike Beams, currently of Mortuous and formerly of Exhumed, is currently hospitalized and scheduled to undergo heart surgery tomorrow, January 26.

Exhumed had the following to say: "Our old friend and guitarist / vocalist Mike Beams (now in the fantastic Mortuous) played with Exhumed from 1998-2004, and was vital in crafting 'Gore Metal,' 'Slaughtercult,' and 'Anatomy is Destiny.' Mike is currently in a hospital in San Jose awaiting heart surgery to remove a growth on a heart valve. Our thoughts and love are with him and we knew that you maniacs would want to wish him the best, so please comment below so he knows we're all pulling for him!"
