Rose Funeral rejoined by ex-vocalist Timmy Russel

Ohio deathcore outfit Rose Funeral have announced the return of vocalist Timmy Russel, who appeared on the group's The Resting Sonata album in 2009 before leaving the band.

His return should prove timely as Rose Funeral continue to work on their first new album since 2011's Gates of Punishment. The album had been expected to arrive in 2021 but has yet to be completed. According to the group, the album is "75% finished right now and we've been picking up steam and knocking more out lately so it shouldn't take much longer if we can manage to stay focused."

Meanwhile, Rose Funeral have finished tracking a new single which is tentatively slated for a January release.
